WM: Crossgate

In short:

WM: Crossgate is a management sim about building a criminal empire in a city you might already know. Recruit and manage your girls, run your establishments, and grow from scraping by to running the whole operation - while keeping an eye on who actually holds power in Crossgate. It's not you.

What it is:

This is a continuation of WhoreMaster and crazy-wm-mod rebuilt from the ground up, with focus on systems and world depth

• Continuation and full rewrite of WM + crazy-wm-mod
• Characters with real decision-making systems behind them - not a coin flip with a name attached, not a full RPG companion, something in between
• Multiple building types, each with their own management layer and revenue logic
• Rival factions expand and fight for territory whether you're watching or not
• Tight early-game economy that shifts into empire-scale pressure in the late game
• Aimed to be multi-platform (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and multilanguage
• Support for community girl packs and content packages + modding with Lua and modernised API

Current Public Build

The current public release is still in active development. Expect rough edges, old UI screens, and systems that are being modernized piece by piece.

The game is playable now, but it is also very much a living project. Recent work has focused on:

• Arena building and early competition systems.
• Data-driven jobs and richer job prose.
• Better turn summaries.
• More consistent image handling.
• More robust mod/package support.
• Disease and cure automation improvements.
• Trait, refusal, and state systems that give characters more context than simple stat bars.

Crossgate is moving toward deeper NPC behavior, better building identity, richer world events, and stronger modding tools.

Inspired By

WM: Crossgate is a spiritual continuation of the classic W*oreMaster and crazy-wm-mod projects, rebuilt from scratch from within with a modern engine, deeper simulation systems and a living city setting.
